Christopher S. Reece
Managing Director
Christopher Reece is a Managing Director of Forensic Employment and Compensation Consultants, LLC. He has provided litigation support for attorneys in matters relating to:

Mr. Reece has been accepted and testified as an expert in the state courts and arbitration hearings. He has provided deposition and expert witness testimony in areas of shareholder unreasonable compensation, executive compensation, unreasonable discharge, earnings capacity, employability defamation, and vocational assessment.
Additionally, he has more than 40 years of senior management experience in management consulting, executive search, and operations. Currently, he is Managing Director of EMA Partners – Boston, a shareholder member of EMA Partners International, an alliance of executive search firms in over 40 countries across the globe. He has conducted over 350 executive searches and numerous organizational assessments and executive assessments.
Mr. Reece has conducted assignments in all functional areas with emphasis on executive and general management level searches. Client organizations have ranged in size from entrepreneurial start-ups to billion-dollar corporations. Some of the industries have included telecommunications, software, industrial products, financial services, business services and textiles. He has also led assignments for several NGOs including museums, health care networks, think tanks, and a botanical garden.
Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Associate in the Boston and New York offices of Kearney Management Consultants, an international management consulting firm. Mr. Reece began his career with an international industrial manufacturer.
Mr. Reece earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as a Trustee Emeritus of Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA. He is a member of World at Work (formerly the American Compensation Society), the American Board of Vocational Experts and the Association for Corporate Growth. He is based in the Boston area.
Richard D. Sbarbaro

Richard D. Sbarbaro is a Managing Director of Forensic Employment and Compensation Consultants, LLC. The firm provides litigation support for attorneys in matters relating to:

Mr. Sbarbaro has been accepted and testified as an expert in the state courts. He testified in circuit court for the plaintiff in an Illinois employment and defamation case which resulted in a jury award of $13,000,000. The award at the time was believed to be one of the largest in U.S. history for this type of case and was subsequently affirmed by the Illinois Appellate Court.
He has opined on employment, defamation, matrimonial and other matters.
Mr. Sbarbaro is also Chairman of Lauer, Sbarbaro Associates n EMA Partners International, and former Chairman of EMA Partners International. The firm provides consulting services to clients nationally and internationally. Services to senior management include executive search, organization strategy, executive compensation, management assessment, executive mentoring, in addition to other industry or organization specific projects. Clients include the spectrum of Fortune 100 organizations to small privately held companies. The firm also assists clients in higher education, as well as in not-for-profit. As a generalist firm, client organizations include a broad range of industries such as consumer products, direct marketing, financial services, healthcare, insurance, law, manufacturing publishing, retail, venture capital and other. Mr. Sbarbaro has supervised and conducted over 1,800 assignments for over 400 organizations.
Under his direction, the firm has obtained a widely recognized national and local reputation in executive search and organizational consulting. The firm has been named repeatedly as one of the top executive search organizations in the world by Executive Search Review. Mr. Sbarbaro has been named as one of the top 150 executive search recruiters in “The Career Makers” published by Harper Collins.
Prior to joining Lauer, Sbarbaro Associates in 1979, Mr. Sbarbaro was a principal with Booz, Allen and Hamilton and a Senior Vice President of the Chicago Stock Exchange (formerly the Midwest Stock Exchange) and its subsidiaries located in Chicago. Earlier positions included assignments with Fry Consultants and Illinois Bell Telephone.
Mr. Sbarbaro has been a resident of the Chicagoland area all of his life, having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago. Over the years, he has remained active with DePaul University, serving on a variety of boards including the Athletic Board (13 years), the President’s Club Board and the Special Gifts Committee. In 1982, he received the DePaul University Distinguished Alumni Award and the Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Award in 1989. He served as a member of the Graduate School of Management Advisory Council and has been an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Business. He also has served as an executive committee member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants.

Thomas Tilghman has been accepted and testified as an expert in the state courts. He provides litigation support for attorneys in personal injury, matrimonial, unreasonable discharge, IRS and shareholder unreasonable executive compensation litigation relating to executive and employee compensation and benefits, career vocational assessment, earning capacity and lost income and employability.
Mr. Tilghman has more than 40 years of senior consulting and management experience in executive and international compensation. He has conducted compensation and human resources related projects in a wide variety of industries including high tech, pharmaceuticals, banking, and oil. He has worked with start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. He is experienced with all aspects of compensation (base salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, executive perquisites) and employee benefits (medical, retirement, insurance) including competitive comparison, and plan design and time-based valuation both domestically and internationally.
Earlier in his career, he was a senior consultant with Towers Perrin specializing in international compensation and a Director in Ernst & Young’s Human Resources Consulting Group managing the executive compensation and compensation survey activities. He was Assistant Vice President of Compensation at Continental Grain and Manager of Compensation at Baxter managing their executive and employee compensation programs.
Mr. Tilghman received his BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Amos Tuck (Dartmouth College). He is a member of World at Work (formerly the American Compensation Association) and FEWA (Forensic Expert Witness Association)
He has made frequent presentations to organizations such as World at Work, American Management Association, and National Foreign Trade Council. He is based in Florida.
